Accounting for differing grades around retaining walls

#3

Thanks! This was very helpful, I hadn't thought to use a break line for both the top and toe of my walls. I can see how that would allow for a cleaner mesh though.

Also, if I am understanding correctly, it sounds as if I should be separating more things by phase as opposed to trying to touch the feature surfaces together in the same phase. Using this project as an example, would separating the "Grass Areas" and "Paved Areas" into different phases create what you are talking about? And would I still be able to reliably define things like sidewalks that run through the different phases in the same way? For example, should I be using different phases for the sidewalks that run through the "Grass Areas" as opposed to the sidewalks that appear against the building? Or should sidewalks be a separate phase as well? It sounds as if chopping the feature surfaces up into phases would allow me to more reliably use the "Raise" or "Pathway" tools as intended, unless I am misunderstanding.
